Bringing the south to Tempe
Search engines are
a broad way to surf the web; when using search engines you can find a specific
website to a topic you search. Opening up a website you want to be able to
clearly see the purpose of the page. If a web page is too cluttered, or has a
scroll bar that seems to go on forever, the user of the website gets very
flustered and may go search for a better website. Lolo’s Chicken and Waffles
effectively shows what their restaurant is all about because of an
easy-to-navigate website, with eye-catching colors and pictures displaying the
variety of food options served .
When you first
open up your browser to the Lolo’s chicken and waffles website, you notice the
plethora of links which are helpful in getting to know the place. At first
glance you notice the options at the top of the page including, menu,
locations, private parties, news and merchandise. These selections can help
answer any questions a potential costumer may have. If by any chance the
question being asked is not answered through these tabs, on the top right hand
corner you can click on FAQs (frequently asked questions) and find the answer
there.
The
first tab of the website on the main menu deals with the menu options for the
various times of the day. When clicked on, a very detailed list of soul food is
displayed before you, but not before having your eyes attracted to some
examples of the delicious foods served.
The list of the foods is very unique because of all the original names
distributed to each course meal; this list includes names such as Nay-Nay,
Tre-Tre, Kimbo, Betty Boop and many more. If it is your first time visiting and
have no idea what these plates consist of, the description makes sure to
specify exactly what is served with each dish.
Also if needed, there is an option to print out the menu so that you can
carry it around or show friends.
So
now you have the menu either memorized or printed out or simply looking at it
on your iPhone. Now you are wondering, well how do I get to this glorious
place? Don’t worry about getting lost because this wonderful website covers the
location as well. Right next to the menu tab there is a tab called locations.
When clicked on it will display the two current locations of Lolo’s chicken and
waffles. Underneath the two separate locations, both with specified address,
there are the operating hours of the company and also how to contact that
certain location.
Among the many
options, private party is one option. This is extremely helpful in the event
that someone would like to throw a birthday or a celebration party. The
reservations are also very easy to set up and are listed immediately below the
prices and number of people permitted. Also in the tab next to the Private
Party option, is the News tab. It tells all the latest going on in the realm of
Lolo’s chicken and waffles. This includes any festive events or just a general
sense of what’s going on. The last of the tabs on the main menu is the
Merchandise tab. This page includes all of the various types of shirts and tank
tops for girls and guys.
A mouth-watering
slide show is being played below the links mentioned above. The pictures
include the delicious koolaid served in a classic Lolo’s jar, better known as
Jar’o Koolaid. The picture of the koolaid shows a great variety of flavors all
with bright colors. Also in this slide show are vibrant pictures of the
exquisite deserts served.
Attached to the
bottom of the tasteful slide show are two links, photo gallery and follow us on
twitter. When you click on the photo gallery you see numerous pictures of
famous stars that have stopped by casually to dine in at Lolo’s Chicken and
Waffles. This link is a great way to show how great their restaurant truly is.
The follow us on twitter button is a convenient way to do exactly what is
stated, follow them on twitter. Following them on twitter, a very popular
social media site, can make sure to give you updates on things such as
specials.
No matter what
link you decide to click on, there is always a giant chicken with his arms
crossed on top of a sign that says open late Friday nights that will lead you
right back to the home screen. What has described in this evaluation is merely
the basics of what this website has to offer. This was an outline if you will
of all that this site has to offer. The site is so easy to navigate that any
first time customer looking at it wouldn’t have any problems at all finding
what they need.
